What I have been up too this summer

Currently this painting is on display at the Hallberg Center for the Arts in Wyoming, MN.
I entered it in the IN Art Show, which in a juried show.

For more information about the show follow the link.

The “Dancing Ladies” reflect my celebration of living, loving and learning that fulfills me while pursuing my creative path. I have used these playful gestural drawings as a starting point and combined them with bold colors to display the feelings of joy and motion while dancing.

I haven't been blogging for a bit, but I am now trying to get back to it. Since about 2015 -2016 I have been working with figures. I am trying different ways to make still posed model drawing into dancing figures.

Here are a few examples of the beginnings of this series.
