Hello Everyone, I hope your Holiday Season is treating you wonderful. We are having a Holiday Event at the Solar Arts Building. Please try to come out and enjoy yourself with lots of great art and of course if you like Beer, INDEED is here & open both Friday and Saturday.

Also Saturday 12/15/2012,  noon to 2pm Bonnie Cutts will be holding a demo of Golden Acrylics. She is Awesome and has vast knowledge about Golden paint products.

New Look

The Summers is flying by..

Well I have been very busy this summers. I got a new art studio. Most of my summer has been taken up by getting it ready. We got the studio the week before Art - A- Whirl. Since that time we have had it open for Art-A -Whirl and for Junes First Thursday. July we installed a counter, put up a closet and painted the space. We didn't have open studios is July Because of the July 4th Holiday. The building is the Solar Arts Building and the Address is 711 15th Avenue N.E. Minneapolis, MN. 55408. We will be open on August 2nd, 2012 from 5PM to 9 PM for the next open NE studio tour. Sorry it has been so long from my last post. March 2012 Spring Has Sprung!

Hello Everyone,

What a odd winter? It was the opposite of last year. Now March feels like summer. What's going on?

Currently I am on the hunt for new venues. I have applied; networked, emailed and met up with new contacts. I am hopeful that some exciting things will come out of it.

I am marching into the new year with a push of positivity fueling me along. Spring is the time of rebirth, renewal and mud puddles. I have my Norwegian wellies to break in. With the early return of warm weather there has been an upbeat energy in the air which has my creative energy flowing. Where will this take me? Painting something red? Or will I adding a few new scrappers to my painting toolbox. How about trying out new fancy paint products. What ever it may be only time will tell.

February 2012

February has flown by with a quickness. I had two different shows up this month. One was at Rue 48 and the other at the Dunn Bros. Coffee. I thank all of you that had time to make it down to the shows.

I love the support that you all give.

What is coming next is that James and I are going to have a open studio. We have not confirmed the date as of yet, but I will be posting it soon.

On another note I have started offering painting classes at my art studio. And so far I have one student and we are having a lot of fun. I am teaching the basics of acrylic painting Katie Palmer Style. If you know anyone that would like to learn acrylic process painting send them my way. I charge $40.00 per person per class and the class duration is two hours. I am open Tuesday - Friday in the evenings and on Saturday.

What else is coming up: Cinco De Marcho "My Birthday" - March 5th - I will be celebrating this with normal festivity at Dulono's Pizza in uptown 6 PM The Address is 607 West Lake St. Minneapolis, MN. 55408. I hope I will see you for the holiday of chicken wings & pizza eating!
