March 7th 2013, First Thursday

Here are some snap snots of my paintings from March 7th, 2013 First Thursday. We had a very fun evening.

Out in the world.

I have had a chance to go see some art shows and art related activities over the last few days.  I must say there is a lot of cool stuff going on in Twin Cities.

Saturday I went to the opening show at a new gallery, "The Abstracted Gallery", the place was popping. It is nice to see a gallery opening full. It was elbow to elbow in the place. The art work there was graffiti, mixed media and pen and ink. Here is a link to there facebook page. I think they're still working on their website.

Today I went and watched a film called "Women's Art Revolution" at the Wilson Library on the U of M campus. This film went through the history of the woman's art movement in the USA.  It was 80 minute film and Kim fell asleep with her head on the pillar. I was very happy it reminded me why I made my penis series.

We did our smooching

We had a blast last night at the Solar Arts Building first Thursday event with the smooch project. The music was fun and interesting as well. Beatrix*Jar

Here are some updates

Hi all ,
Here are some of the painting that I am working on currently.

The city scape is the ABC painting that i have been working on. This is where I have got it to now.

The other two photos that I have here are painting that I am making for my friend Fea. I call these paintings the dottors.

ABC Painting In Process

Here is the painting that I am currently working on.. I mentioned it in my last post. It will be changing as soon as I get into the studio. I believe Saturday will  be the next painting day. I'll update the blog as I get further along with it.

January 21st 2013

I thought I would add a new painting to my blog.

I have been working a lot this week over at Utrecht Art Supplies.. It is back to school time for a lot of students.

I started a few new painting at the studio.

The painting in the back ground of this painting are coming along steady.

Another abstraction based on the parking ramp I work in is giving me a bit of a fight. Of course it really looks nothing like the real thing.. It is giving me a hard time, but I will work it out. I don't have a photo of it at this point but I will add it as soon as I take a snap shot.
